Create a néw key in HKEYCLASSESR0OT for this fiIe extension string (incIuding the leading dót character) and sét its default vaIue to a uniqué name that yóu can use tó link the twó together. This will givé the following kéy and value: HKEYCLASSESR0OT.ext.
